At the college there are a few computers with interent that you can use for 50 cents every half an hour. I had to e-mail my daddy, so I had to get on the Right now I'm at the college. In the library at the college there are a few computers with Internet. But, e-mailing him took all my time... and there's a funny boy next to me.. so I really gotta go!!!
Love you all!

Hey, all!

Just a bit sad...
Hey, all.
HAC is great. The girls are very nice. I think I got a 95% for my first class. That, makes me quite glad!
I just spent an hour and a half trying to find a good white undershirt, and a nice white top, in this mall that is huge! They just don't make good clothes anymore...
Walking around the mall reminds me so much of the fun times I had hanging out with Melissa, Mark, and David in wal-mart or just around town... I miss them!
When I sat down with my computer to get hooked up God gave me two pennies. They remind me of the bus kids, and how all the change i gathered during the week I'd pass out to them to put in the bus. I'm going to miss them! I already do. My background is a picture of the whole church at the zoo.
Tomorrow I am going to Chapel 5. I agreed to go before I found out that it is a morning and afternoon chapel. I want to be on an afternoon only chapel so I can go to Bro. Schaap's morning service. I'll just go with her this weekend, and then next week I'll do something else...
I hope my friends can answer when I call them tonight. I miss them very much! About 32 days... sigh. Then it will be even longer before the fall! In the fall things will get better. And starting work next week will take my mind off things.... yeah... time to go!

My first days at HAC
I don't have time to write about my room pictures.... just check em out!

I figured out a pretty nifty way of keeping my blog up to date. I’ll just write and date stuff when I’m here, in my dorm, and then whenever I have internet access I can just copy and paste what I’ve written!!!!
Whoo!!! Pretty great idea, eh? Then, I’ll have time to look up any information I need to look up, and I’ll also have time to read my friend’s blogs, and my e-mail. !! Yeah!
June 12, 2008
Alright, now I’ve some time to write something… I’ve no idea where to begin. Things here with me have been crazy hectic. After church on Sunday my parents came to give me a few things I had forgotten at home. It was really nice to see them. I enjoyed it. After church Mark had some errands to run in town, so Melissa, David and I went into town with him. That trip was a ton of fun as usual, but it was kinda sad. We won’t get to goof off together in town after church again until Christmas vacation! Ah well, I can look forward to it. (34 days ‘til YC!)
One thing that’s really cool here is that the airport isn’t far away at all, so when the planes fly over the college they are quite low and you can see and hear them all the time. That always makes me smile!!! (I just heard one so I had to share)
We left home around 11:30 to start the trip down to the college. Half way to Wisconsin I remembered that I had forgotten my money… I’ve an awful memory when it comes to the most important things, though I can almost always remember conversations and people’s clothes and stuff… Is there something wrong with that picture? I don’t think so too much. It’s a ton of fun remembering conversations!
Mark was kind enough to meet us at the airport with my money… not that he really had a choice, but I think he’d do it anyway… maybe if he reads this he’ll leave a comment and tell us J
After that the trip down to the college was pretty uneventful. We stopped at this crazy huge wal-mart somewhere in Wisconsin. We had a good time there, though I was kinda half asleep. My pastor is crazy, and I love him!!!!!!!!!
We arrived at the college around 6:15 ct (how do you put central time… would that be it? Just ct?)
I got all settled in my room pretty great by now!
On Monday I signed up for class, got a room, got a laundry key. It was nice. Being in my class was kinda intimidating. The girls were all sweetly nice to me, but I was pretty moody, so… yeah… *wink* Chapel was good. I was posta talk to someone after the service, but he left before I could. On Tuesday I went right to Bro. Hooker and told him I didn’t get to talk to the sir that I was supposta talk to. He directed me to Bro. Gieseler and he helped me with everything. It was nice.
On Monday I went to Americall, but I didn’t have a proper picture ID so I couldn’t start work. I was really frustrated at that!!! But, now I see that it was best that I didn’t get to start work. Now I have/had time to put some real effort into my class!
I went to the library that night. Because I didn’t have my college ID I couldn’t sign up for a library card though. The library is sooo honking big. It’s three stories! But, it doesn’t have wi-fi. I thought that was the biggest joke I’d ever heard. How can a library that big not have wi-fi? Insane… I didn’t bring my computer the first time, I just asked the ladies. But, I’m going to go back sometime with my computer and see if there is any other wi-fi in the area I can “catch”.
I got to talk to my dad, Amy, and Melissa that night. It was sweet to talk with all of them. I cried while talking to all three of them… I really didn’t have much fun on Monday. Seriously. I was totally out of my zone, and suffering from a lack of sleep. Because of those reasons, I really didn’t eat anything at all either… my fault, blame me!
When I came back to the college after the library I asked the desk security guard if he knew where I could get my picture taken for my photo ID. He asked, “You broke the camera?” I had no idea what to say…
Once he was done teasing me about that, he asked me if I knew where the yearbook office was. I told him, “No, sir.”
He asked, “Do you know where the dining hall is?”
“Yes, sir.”
“How come you know where that is?” It was so funny!!! What a laugh… He eventually told me where the yearbook office was located. That was pretty much the first time I laughed all day…
I came back to my room and put some stuff away, and read. It was nice. Around 9:00 there was a beating on my door. It was Miss Richen(sp?) checking if I was there. You see, I had left Americall with some lady who worked at the desk… Ha, when I told Amber ((one of) my bf(s) from Colorado) about that she got crazy mad at me. “You aren’t in the UP anymore! You can’t just trust people like that!!!” Well, I was really moody and upset and tired, and just wanted to be alone in my room, so I did…. Ha… don’t worry. I don’t think I’ll do that again. I’m still not used to this “city” life. Campus is really, really sheltered.
They found that I was here, and everything was all good. J
After that I went straight to bed. Never before was it so welcomed!!!
On Tuesday (man, I got a journal for graduation, as you know, but I really haven’t written in it yet. I’ve no time! I love to share everything with whomever reads this blog, so I think it’s totally worth the time of typing all this out. J ) I woke up and had a good breakfast, and read my bible, and my day was completely opposite of the day before!!! It was wonderful!!! What all happened… It was so long ago… I just knows it was good. Oh yeah, class was sweet. Then, I got to meet Miss Cooper. She gave me the balloon! She's a sweet old lady! Then, I got to bring my Cds and Computer to get impounded. (At Sciecne Olympiad when we bring our built projects we need to get all of the info about it recorded. That’s what we did with the computer, so I call it impounding… they’ve another word… but I don’t remember.) I also got a rule book, and I got to meet Mrs. And Bro. Hooker. That was really sweet!!! I also met a really cool girlie named Vicky. There was a mall bus, so we went to the mall. The mall is so stinking huge!!! Like nothing else I’ve ever been to. It was crazy. And the mall had wi-fi! When I got back I got to talk to my dad and Melissa. That was sweet! But this was the icing on the cake. As my close friends know, I absolutely love the stars. When I turned the light off and climbed into bed I looked up at the celing, and there were some glow in the dark stars taped up! The girl who had this room before must have put them there! God is soooooooo good!!!!!!
Yesterday was also very good. Class was even more fun than the day before. I found out that there are 5 seniors, one master student, one junior, and me. It was kinda intimidating then too! During chapel I sat about where I had sat the day before. Miss Janell Flecher came over and asked me, “You wanna do something?” I said, “Sure. Oh no, what did I just agree to do?” “Just come with me.” And we sat near the back of the seats on the right side. She told me, “we are going to sit on the guy’s side”
“there’s a guy’s side”
“Not really, it’s just the way it works out.”
“Ok, I’ll sit wherever. It doesn’t matter to me.”
People were kinda staring. It was just, “whatever” to me.
Then Janell told me, “our plan backfired, this must be the married men’s section.”
I laughed!!!! I was so like, “Whatever. I don’t want a guy right now anyway.”
Yesterday my pastor called me! It was so sweet of him to think of calling me. I felt really special!
I stated to work on my homework for my class.
Supper is crazy early on Wednesdays. I wasn’t hungry at supper time, but I ate anyway. They have supper on throw away plates so I think that next week I’ll bring it to my room to eat it later. Supper is at 4, but the busses for church don’t leave until around 6. Kinda different.
Vicky talked me into sitting in the balcony for the mid-week service. It was the first time I had ever sat up there for a service, and I don’t think I liked it very much. In fact, I didn’t like it at all. My pastor raised all of us to be close, and it’s just not fun being too far away from the preacher. Also, lots of people were messing around. That too frustrated me.
The stars were out last night too! The big dipper was right over the college when we got back from church. I pointed to Arcturus and told everyone that it was “my” star, and told them the name of it. Vicky was like, “that’s my star! It’s named Vicky!” She just pointed at a random one… She is such a goof!!!
After church Vicky bought me this yummy thing from Wendys. Tonight I’ll have to buy her something at the mall. Maybe we can share something… I’m sure that will be a great plan, if she comes.
I wrote a tiny bit in my journal last night, and started to write some letters back home, but I didn’t get to far. I still had to do some homework. Finished that, and clambered into bed.
This morning I just ate and did normal stuff… It was nice. And then it’s taken me about half an hour to type all this up.
Oh yeah! Today I taught a lesson on the tongue. I started it off by having us do tongue twisters. This one is my all time favorite!!!!
Of all the felt I ever felt,I never felt a piece of feltwhich felt as fine as that felt felt, when first I felt that felt hat's felt.
Oh, the memories!!!
Alright, that’s two pages… so I’m off! If any one took the time to read all of that rambling, God bless you immensely, and thanks!!!!

Hey, hey, hey!
The mall has wi-fi! Don't know how often I'll make it here, but when I can, I will! The Bookshelf used to have wi-fi, but some people were getting onto it not in the bookshelf, where they weren't supposta, so they don't have it anymore.
It's been so awesome being here, at Hyles-Anderson! I'm trying to type fast, so don't mind
Things have been so crazy lately. Friday night and Saturday morning I was rummaging through stuff making sure that I packed everything I needed. The only thing I forgot was my mirror, which is alright because right outside my dorm room is the hall mirror! All I have to do is open the door to see myself. That's really cool. I'll have to call home and have my daddy somehow give my mirror to Melissa to bring to Youth Conference. Once fall starts, I'm gonna need it.
Anyways, Saturday went really well. I spent the night at Melissa's. Sunday was great. The bus route was kinda low, but, hey, people still came! There were three bus teens at Sunday school. After Church on Sunday morning...
I got to work on my assignment. Maybe I'll have time to write more when I'm done.

This is...
My 100th post! And, probably my last one for a while. How perfect!
I'm just about all packed. I've got to put a few more things into my duffel bag. It's so crazy!
Melissa's graduation is today. That ought to be a blast! I'm really excited.
I'm so glad I canceled my wisdom tooth extraction that was posta happen on Thursday. I have to start work on Monday, and some people have major problems with getting their teeth pulled. One of my friends from school missed a week of school after getting his tooth pulled. And good thing I did cancel it because yesterday, my physical was crazy.
First I got preached at about some things. I pretty much had a, "Whatever" attitude toward it... I know! Horrible me! But then, after I got my TB test, I passed out. My doctor was just like, "See, I told you." It wasn't that great...
Well, I've gotta double check that all my stuff is together, and do a few more chores.
I'll post again as soon as I can!!!

so spolied...
I'm typing up this post from my new lap top... my daddy bought it for me last night. He's also paying for the first year of my Jericho plan... Insane! He also bought me the bed sheet set that I wanted. It's so super cute. Hot pink, lime green, and orange polka-dots, and stripes.
I love my daddy. :)
It's Thursday and I've got some chores and stuff I have to do before tonight.
Smiles!

Hyles-Anderson College
Hyles-Anderson is so great. The ladies who work there sure do make me smile!
I e-mailed a question down there, and I think two different girls got it. One e-mailed me back really quick. Another girl called me and gave me some information on my room, and then told me she didn't know the answer to my question, so she transferred me to someone who could answer my question. I know I should have spoken up and said, "Oh, I was already e-mailed a reply, thank you" But I didn't... my fault, blame me. So I was transferred and I didn't know what to do, so I just asked the same question, even though I already had an answer. The girl who I was talking to said, "let me check," and she put me on hold. I hoped she'd just tell me the answer, instead, she came back on and said, "so and so said that she had already e-mailed you back. Did you get it?" "Yes... I did. Thank you." Oh man, talk about stupid me!
